Post WTB/WTT: SF240 movement ring for Esdee's WL case set
I'm looking for a movement ring to house an Angelus SF240 in my Esdee welded lug case.
I'd be happy to trade one for my Cortebert and/or 649X movement ring.

If you have something, please let me know the actual thickness/depth of the ring. (As you may know some of esdee's WL rings have insufficent measure for keeping the caseback an bezel safely attached.)

X2 I need one also, I made a custom ring using the 6497 one that was in mine and works fine but if I ever was to sell it I would want to switch it out with a proper movement ring. I was talking with Kpoy he was Going to cut one for me but haven’t heard from him in a while.

There are also 2 sizes for the 240. The non alarm plate is a bit bigger.

Yeah, thanks for pointing out an important detail. Mine has the alarm bridge.

No clue where to get one?
I’ve got not one but two original movement rings (649X & Cort 61X) and they’re both too short for even keeping the case together for display purposes.
I’m not too happy about having a $600 USD case that is unusable due to an elementary design fault.

Is it a design fault? Wasn't the case simply meant to house another movement from the beginning?

Anyways, there are big differences between the 649X, Cortebert 616 and the SF240, diameter and height.

Absolut.
Hard to categorize it as a 'feature', if the thread is too short for keeping the case set together. And this applies to both of my rings. I'm unable to make a build with my existing parts if I don't want the bezel, case back or both to fall off with a tender flick of wrist.
