Guys, sorry for checking in "only" for this, I know that I am not here often these days. Just wanted to keep you posted about things that matters to me.

Not that I have any religious beliefs myself, but.....well, we covered that part a long time ago.

But, I went to the cemetery with flowers and lid a candle, sat and thought of all the crazy, wonderful things I have shared with Sjef over the years.

Today a year has passed since he left us for good. I told him you said hello.

Sjef was an true asset for HF, a friend and a brother to all of us. I wish he is watching us from above there and smile....

Thanks M

Sometimes, on clear winter nights, I remain observing the sky. I think of my Mother, of my Grandparents, of friends who are no longer there.
I think of the millions of years necessary to complete the whole cosmos, in the chance that has brought us all together at a certain moment in time, and I conclude that it will be very difficult to see them again in "some way" , although if there is a possibility, I think I will have a long work ...

Hi all,

Sad news today, Sjef's wife Nellie passed away and her brother has asked me to sell the watch collection.

Sjef had a few SF240 builds, some Asian/ETA/Unitas builds and I have seen an Alpha, some vintage chronographs and so on, 80 watches in all...perhaps a Hamilton 10 size and some E. Howard builds.

I have no access to H-F, so if you are interested in buying as is, let me know. The watches are not here with me, yet.

/Michael

As it is a lot of watches, it seems that the family will send them all to me and I will start auctions on eBay or sell them to HF / H-F members, after that I will forward the funds to the family. I am doing this in my spare time and for free, so be patient.

This is really sad news Michael. Sjef was a good friend and feel the same for his wife, eventhough never meet or speak to her.

May God rest her soul and both look at us from the bright skies...
