Consider that option carefully.

I wouldn't need a trip to the Doctor. All it would take to resolve the problem would be this:

Or this:

And instant let down. Literally.

I don't believe in alternative medicine, but I am sure that there is a natural way of dealing with this one.

I agree that it's weird to write that they removed the strap. The strap pictured doesn't look removeable.

Anyway, what I wanted to say: Perezcope has written about this watch, serial 1010103. Kampfschwimmer with later, unoriginal RP engravings - notice how the RP is way off-centered?

https://perezcope.com/sitemap/ (scroll down to find 1010103)

What do you suppose the author means by "not engraved by Panerai "

It is the text on the dial,
"Radiomir
Panerai"

Apparently, the dial was originally sterile.

So just the fact that they put another nice strap next to it is the problem?

Otherwise commonly people will use rivets to have straps that can be removed for fixed lug watches.

Vintage sewn on straps didn't have rivets for easy removal. I don't think the frogmen had an assortment of straps to match their mood. All I'm saying is if they removed the strap they cut it up. Or they lied.

Side note, there were genuine Panerai watches that did use rivets on the straps. The Panerai museum has some of those straps on display. Last year, another member visited the museum and posted pictures of these straps.

I am so going to make some straps like these

Btw, just for the record: a 3646 is a $100.000 watch, not $500.000, according to auction prices the past few years. viewtopic.php?t=37751

There's one on eBay for 99,500€ so that's close to 100,000$ if you want something to choose
