It´s an "ordinary" Geneva pattern lathe, possibly marked by Panerai afterwards.

It looks like my Longines from the same era, give or take a decade. Mine was made by Lorch Schmith & Co, marked Longines, it wouldn´t surprise me if this came from the same maker.

Like Yoda said, it's a nice little lathe but it's nothing spectacular. I'd have to see some REAL provenance on that before I'd spend any real money on it. It's not a factory production piece or anything like that, it's simply a nice watchmaker's lathe of the era.

All I did was clean years of dust and old oil off it.
Oh and straighten one of the levers which was damaged in shipping .

Real deal :thumbup:
