Not trying to promote this one, just wanted to share. Linjer, a new watch company, using Swiss movements is promoting minimalism and value. They started a funding campaign last year and raised almost $1M. They started a new campaign recently and raised more than $350K in just one day. Their funding is at $442K right now.

Interesting considering that a lot of other big names are struggling. The stock for Fossil, for example, is selling for $7 more or less. A couple of weeks ago, it was down to $5.5. Just a few years ago, it was selling for $120. This shows that the problem in the watch industry lies with the watch companies--still plenty of people want to buy watches, but they expect quality and value.
