2 martin: what's the overall quality of this watch (case, movement moving etc..) ? Have you opened it yet...?

I haven't opened it yet, but it's all very solid. Case is a chunk of steel, without being too heavy, movement winds very smooth, setting feels solid. The ST17 is regarded as a good movement as far as I know, I have no reasons (yet) to doubt this statement. It keeps time good enough for me not to notice anything (I never set them to the second)
If you consider the price you can have one for (paid something like $30 incl $10 shipping in an auction  ) they are really great bargains, like most (but not all) Parnisses.

Regards,

Martin

Ye olde Kronos, this time on a Watchadoo. I actually like this watch now, despite its quartz mvmt.

I have a Kronos as well, and I love it. It's built like a tank despite cheapo ETA quartz.
I relumed it myself and removed the second hand. I like it being SINN-like :)

Here's mine, also on watchadoo.. And I swapped hands for custom made ones (made by me) I relumed it myself since lume was nonexistent.. The best quartz $60 can get.
Indestructible.

Hi,

It's a "Tao International". Ebay brand (I guess). You can buy them here

They have quite some interesting models.

Martin

That TAO is sweet! Don't get it tho.. They use same cases, same movements but faces stamped TAO international -- they're the only seller selling this...?

I like this one; quartz + automatic seconds. Sounds out of mind but hey; at least it looks cool and you don't have to worry about accuracy.

Well, they have a number of models and movements no other seller has. The double barrel used in the B&R style for example, and the Skeleton in the Bubble, I haven't seen them in any other watches yet. Some others are indeed quite familiar.
