I know the site is a mess, but if possible we should remove b-uhr's VIP status so we can have convos in that section without him seeing them.

I know email addresses are probably useless, but everything in this world seems to leave a trace these days and maybe guys with more skills than I can use this. Here is an email I had from him way back

I also recall this to be true. Sacramento or around those parts if I’m not mistaken. I suspect our friends who sent him their watches have at least an address as old as 2015 when they sent him stuff or at least that’s when their saga began.

That little fella owed lots of people straps for a long while. He sang the same tune as he did here for years with plenty of empty promises.

His lack of integrity is no surprise to most of us. He earned a short ban a few times in the past for his yappy mouth. My view on Jay has been quite frank and clear. It’s unfortunate though he took his lack of character to the extent of stealing from others.

We are just too forgiving on this forum with patience that it’s hard to see when a degenerate rears their head. I’m glad the mods have allowed this thread to remain open and hope to have some resolution for these people who have been wronged.

It appears I paid Jay not only 300 USD for the mods and 90 USD for shipping, but also 451 USD for the gen parts. So my total cost reaches around 1750 USD.

In September 2014 Jay told me his full name is Jay Tan, and he lives in Sacramento, Ca 95833. I have more details but I assume I can't post these here, so please PM me if you want his full address.

The email address he always used for pp was mgarcia16570@yahoo.com.

Just don't start a posse of vigilantes ;)

Contact a collection firm and have them ask JT for the money. The total he owes you all.

I see he is now banned on RWI as well. Someone must have seen the ad on WC or has been notified. I could dig up an email and a phone number which I sent to Mel.

If you have a confirmed address, you can call the local authorities. I did that once one a guy in Cali and they paid him a visit with intention to arrest for theft. I got my money back.

That was early in the internet before e-commerce blew up. Not sure they have time for that anymore, but it worked for me back then.

Our good rwi mod raddave found this old post by him on WUS
http://forums.watchuseek.com/f29/fs-rol ... ics/835614

I'm not a member there, I can't see if he posted/logged in recently too or not.
Maybe some of you has a way to contact their staff and see if they find something out?

Thank you very much to the people who looked into this from a legal standpoint and gave me their advice.

Unfortunately, as I suspected, I can't really do anything to get my money back, but (as someone suggested) I will send Jay a letter by snail mail and I would like to invite others who were scammed too, to do the same. Please just send me a PM and I'll send you his address. It's a long shot, but who knows.

Anyway, thank you all for your support!

Hopefully this will at least make him feel like shit for a while.

Have we banned b-uhr here and over at the new H-F?

Have we alerted the moderators on the other boards? RWI, Repgeek, WUS and so on? Go for it and make life a misery for people of this kind.

Some of you must have the correct address, it would be a good idea to let Capricorn and leeyewfei know in case they haven´t it today.

If this was me, then I would ask a "connection" in the US of A and let this person convince Jay that it is better to pay than have his house burned down or end up in hospital. I am so pissed, even if it isn't my business. If it was, then he would have paid a long time ago.
