Nope, Valjoux 72C  It showed up yesterday afternoon. I'll post a movement pic later.

Hey, do any of you guys see anything interesting in this auction picture?

How about in this picture?

It's got a broken balance staff and is missing the sweep seconds parts but for what I paid for the whole lot I'm very happy. After I fix and sell the pocketwatch and the trench watch I'll basically get the 3139 for free. So does anybody have a Rolex 10 1/2 hunter with good sweep seconds wheel, pinion, and retaining spring?

One great find after another. Congratulations. How old is that, 1940s?

Late 1942 or early 1943. It's a little guy too, just around 30mm.

I was looking at that case, too! But I couldn’t find any information about the movement type the seller was saying would work with it... what movement are you planning on using ?

The movement it was meant for is basically a modified DG2813 with seconds at 6. So everything from an ETA 2836-2 to a Miyota 8015, Seagull DG2813, ST6D, ST1612 will fit. 11 1/2 Ligne. About 5mm +- height.

I will use a skeleton Miyota (8015) 8N24. :)

Without having it here to check yet I would say 34mm +- 0.5mm based on what I have read.

Updates? I want to see what it looks like once you are done restoring it.

Patience grasshopper....10 1/2 ligne parts aren't easy to find. It is up and running now but it still needs the sweep seconds parts.
